Philosophy...

Interior architecture and design is more than interior decorating. Interior architecture can encompass a full remodel with space plans that indicate relocation of walls, lighting, electrical, kitchen and bath layouts, and additional square footage. Just like with remodels, a new custom office space or home requires close coordination with the architect, client, and contractors to preserve the design intent while staying within budget and schedule constraints. The furnishings and other interior decorating come at the end and become the 'jewelry'...the finishing touches. The interior architect/designer is the link between the client and contractor and can provide technical drawings and a comprehensive design 'plan' from which to build. Interior design should be a fusion of style, balanced design elements, and functionality. It is architecture for the interior.

Effective spaces are often uncluttered yet layered in their textures and composition, and this allows one to focus on design elements that have special meaning such as a beautifully lit piece of art, a unique architectural ceiling detail, a view of the Sonoran landscape, or varying textures of the materials and finishes in the space.Eco-conscious materials, fixtures and construction practices help a space meet responsible standards that respect the environment.

When well designed architecture, dynamic lighting, and elegant finishes combine, the interior works, and it allows people to be productive, harmonious, and feel 'at home'. Feeling at home is not exclusive to a residence. An office, restaurant, or spa should both calm you and energize you, and so these same design strategies work for commercial spaces. Often, the physical environment can determine the success of a commercial space.Lighting, sound, air quality, and design elements all can promote harmony and balance within a well-designed interior space.

We value client relationships, consistent communication, creative collaboration, the power of positive thinking, and the beauty of simple, elegant design.
